Music: "Our Favorite Dichotomy"

This is a little hybrid soft jazz/electro (hence the pretentious title) piece I put together.  I thought it’d be nifty to pair a blatty, filtered analog synth bass with a more Kenny-G style vibe.  In retrospect, I actually do like the melody I came up with, and probably should have just shot for a straight jazz piece instead - the bass is too conspicuous and gets annoying fairly quickly, and all but kills the piece for moody, serious contexts.  What can I say? I was young, I needed the money, etc., etc.  Still, in spite of some conceptual flaws, this one isn’t too embarassing.  Mr. Larry Oji did this piece the best honor it could ever have hoped for by playing it on the final episode of his video game music remix radio show, VG Frequency, for which I’m thankful.
